IGBT е. Најчесто се користат во моќни switching напојувања, SMPS швајц апарати, итн.

Јас имам 6 такви модули, извадени се од индустриски пеглач на напон. Тешко некаде да ги примениш зашто се за преголеми напони и стриу.

Ако добро разбирам, швајц апарат работи на еднонасочна струја со голема ампеража.
Слично како што ги преправаат напојувањата од микро печка за краен резултат да добијат мини точкасто (пунктирачко) заварување.

Зависи кој апарат, има и инвертери и со трафо и со исправувачи и без и пулсни и гасни(безструја)...
